We have thousands of bargain books priced at .50 and discount books ranging from $1.50-$1.99. Bring in your unwanted books and we'll see what we can use. The trade credit you receive from your used books helps you reduce the price you pay by even more. Instead of paying 50% of the publisher cover price you pay 25% of the cover price instead. Needed a little break from decoupaging and cleaning books, so today’s adventure is… winding yarn. Lots of yarn. These little cuties are headed for our swag bag giveaways for BOOKSTORE ROMANCE DAY.
Goal: 36 decent‑sized slices and maybe a wrist that still works afterward.

Happy Farmers Market Day!

We were up late decoupaging our standee for BOOKSTORE ROMANCE DAY — finally stopped at midnight only because we ran out of Mod Podge. Our DIY budget backdrop is coming together, slowly but surely. While we wait for more glue, we’re off hunting for coffee filters to make paper flowers. We know there’s a pack around here somewhere.

Today’s schedule:
Bookstore hours: 2–8pm (might open as early as noon)
Artisan Market Pop‑up: 3:30–8pm inside the shop
Farmers Market: 4–9pm right outside

It’s a cooler Wednesday at just 90 degrees, but wow… still hot out there.
I’m finally shelving these hefty USED art tomes — absolute workout material. It only took four years to start getting them out, and we even sold a few while cleaning them, which feels like a small victory 😁
Bookstore hours today are 11:30am–7pm, and Toby and I are settling in for the day.

It’s $6 Tuesday at Regency — they’re our neighbors in the building — and they’ve got Backdoor, Obsession, and Scary Movie playing. Toy Story 5 shows up Thursday, so the week’s looking looking up.

I’m definitely feeling it today after packing and moving a bunch of book boxes, and then I went and started a new project anyway. Attempting decoupage, so wish me luck. I’m here till 7pm, waiting out the rest of the day. See ya soon.

Farmers market day is here!

We spent last night shelving a bunch of USED sci‑fi & fantasy — plus quite a bit of Star Trek. Cleaned, priced, and ready for a new home.

Today’s schedule:
Bookstore Hours — 12–8pm
Artisan Market — 3:30–8pm
Farmers Market — 4–9pm

It’s 7:30am but the sun says it’s noon, so yay and that why I’m up and ready.
Toby and I have 4.5 hours of uninterrupted chaos: digging through book boxes, purging the gross ones, rescuing the cute ones, and maybe pulling some bargain books because you all devour the .50 and $1.99 carts. Everything else temporarily goes onto these shelves.
Donations and yarn are taking over the bookstore. Chaos needs corralling.
