Soybeans are looking good in our area! Justin Smith with a monster in his field! Lateral branches, sporting some serious pods! After a week of heat and the 7-10day precip, we hopefully have enough subsoil moisture to fill all these pods.

Found tons of these little guys in the field today!
Lady beetle pupa! Lady beetles or Lady bugs are great predators of soybean aphids. ladybugs can eat up to 5,000 aphids over its lifetime. They can also help to rid your fields of other soft insects such as mites, mealybugs and leafhoppers, along with insect eggs and even ants!
