How are ya?
Enjoying another beautiful day on the coast with the most we hope.
This Saturday is Record Store Day™.
We're opening up at 9 AM for that days special releases.
We have a neato check list you can pick up anytime to use (we'll also hand them out on Saturday as needed) to make things easier.
We'll follow our usual method of the past few years:
Please make a list with your name and the RSD™ titles you want (let us know a price limit if you have one). Please write if you need a bag and your phone number on your list if you'd like a texted receipt. We're very sorry we can't print a receipt anymore. We'll grab these list in order of who's at the door or in line if there is one, get your stuff and payment method and off you go!
If you have any questions in line (like "Hey, I don't want that if it's more than X." or something else) please let us know when we grab your list or when you get to the front of the line or when we're grabbing payment... We'll do whatever works best for you and makes this easier for everybody.
After the line is over, probably by 11 AM, we'll open the doors for regular shopping.
The not cool part is that we have to follow the RSD rules for these releases (only these), there's more info about the rules on the official Record Store Day™ site if you have questions.
We'll try to post a list of what we got tonight or tomorrow. Let's hope we got what you're looking for.
Let us know what you need and how we can help and we'll do our best.
Please don't forget all the great stores in town who have the smarts to be awesome everyday without the RSD™ stuff. Our pals do their own thing and you should check them out especially Hausfrau, Cyclebreakers Records and Tapes, Ship to Shore, Blue Arrow, Bent Crayon...

How are ya?
Great we hope.
We've had a literal ton of new records and restocks this week.
One we're super excited about is that after more than 30 years the Groop is now a 7" single!!!
It's a two sided Garage Rock monster of the highest order.
Some of you might know it from "Back From The Grave Volume Eight".
Now you can hear both sides of the original acetate recorded @1967 at A&T studios in Toledo.
Transfer was done by Boss Hoss so you know it's the best that could ever be achieved. He even formulated a special paint to dampen noise just for this transfer!
There's a video link in the comments for you to hear an approximation of how great the vinyl sounds.
We'll try to post a list of other new arrivals and details about Record Store Day™ soon.
