Smoothing out a couple hiccups in my alignment settings but got to burn a battery through V2 Belt Drive last week and it feels amazing! It’s quick out of the hole, tons of carry speed and very predictable! Doesn’t look too shabby either 😎

Looks like a mess now but the wiring challenge is one of my favorite parts of building a chassis. This is the stage I call “training” where I’ll rough in the wiring and let it get used to some of the bends and routes so it’s easier to keep in place on final wiring.

I was lucky enough to get hands on V2 Belt Drive of one of me personal favorite chassis to drive from my buddy This version has a lower center of gravity battery mount that is flipped to run parallel with the bottom deck and slightly forward servo mount. Can’t wait to feel the differences side by side to v1 and decide which I like more.

Finally got a chance to do a suspension refresh on the Galm. While I was in there, figured it would be the best time to install the adjustable dampening shafts from BaoLa and man are they sweet!!! Just turn the dial to the corresponding numbers and away you go. I’ve got them cranked to 11 (stiff) at the moment so I am looking forward to trying all of the numbers out and dialing in that perfect combination at the next track session day!
