Teacup arrived
The handles didn't have a good fit, so instead we made a summer teacup windchime!!
For 24$ you get the teacup and a chime kit !

Its the WeeKEnd !!!
* Saturday August 15th ... Summerfest at the Steilacoom Park is happening!!!
* and we've got a Birthday Party happening at the studio too. Seats will be available after 2:30pm when we have completed clean up.
*Sunday = several seats/tables have been reserved but we will have remaining seats available as a 1st come 1 served walk in.
** Tuesday August we still close at 4pm. We have a big family group booked tables in the downstairs studio and a work team paint gathering on the main floor too, seating on Tuesday is mostly booked up.
* Saturday August 22nd is also another birthday booking downstairs, those seats will open after 2:30pm

We played and made Monsters tonight !!
They are very raw and wet and will need extra dry time before going into the kiln for the 1st fire.
** thinking of making a class of clay monster building **

Just sharing some air quality update for the next two days for those who need to be extra cautious with their respiratory system.

Just an fyi...

The Town of Steilacoom has announced a townwide, two-day scheduled power outage for August 13 and 14, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Power will be shut off to perform required maintenance on the local substation that serves 100% of the town.

This Pierce County town will be without power for two days. Are you ready?
