Can’t tell you how great it is to see mainstream brands Hollister Co. showing off the hardware. Gracie wears a Dexcom G6, and it is literally a lifesaver. Alerts us to low blood sugars (especially at night when she doesn’t wake from lows) through an alarm on our phone. Without these notifications, her blood sugar could become dangerously low (or high for that matter) and become life threatening. Thankful for technology. But we still need a cure. The cost of a 3 month supply of sensors and 1 transmitter is approximately $1400. This is in addition to pump supplies, and of course insulin. Which a type 1 diabetic cannot live without.

Not going to lie. This was one of my first thoughts when I saw Ukraine being invaded. Pray for all those depending on me...
