Well Anna is gone on vacation and I am home now and I am back to covering JAR.

I have to put away this month's filament order. Did you know that by buying in bulk I save almost half of our filament expense?

I never wanted to raise my prices so when I found out I could cut costs on expenses by buying in bulk for filament, our largest expense, I switched to it right away.

We have always had different projects we have done together or different adventures we have done together. Now some have failed and some have really done well like the current company we are doing of 3D printing and design. So what am I saying? Well I am gone this week but JAR has not stopped running because my other half Anna is keeping it going and that needs to be acknowledged. Thanks for being my partner in life and in business.

Sometimes you get emails or messages as a company and you think it might be spam and you have to decide if it is worth the risk to respond. I have had a number of them this year and it has gone both ways, but this year more than any it has had some great results when it goes well.

A recent one was someone looking for a bus related giveaway to promote his business. I have a few things but putting words on them has never went great. His push led me to learning and in the end I also made one for my own business.

I plan to give some away at a conference I am at the next few days and see if they are liked and if the cost is worth the reward.

Christmas in July?

Nope, just the joyful part of owning a business that pays for your new toys. I should really charge more for the stuff I make. But I am happy when it pays for me to have fun printers that just came out and are changing the way people look at 3D printing.

The new Bambu lab A2L printer is one of the first to not only print at really fast speeds but this one has the option to cut vinyl!

I am excited to be welcoming my 8TH Bambu printer to my growing print farm.

The advantage of a bunch of printers is when you get a very BIG order. You can task them all to make said order to help fill it faster.

This is the largest single order we have ever had.

We have been moving our craft room from the back room to the main space in the basement to not only organize and purge, but also to create a shipping space for jarhomeideas. This has helped streamline the shipping process and keep our main living space upstairs cleaner. It's really nice having the packaging and labeling next to each other.
