Good morning world, we are walking this 10k in honor of Nick Tedesco! He was coming home from work on 3/1/2024 when his life, our family and many more were permanently impacted by his loss.
We hope to see some familiar faces.
Sign up, show up and message me that you are coming so we can have a meet up spot! See link below to run together for Nick. Do you have a NickyT99 shirt already, please wear it to spread awareness. If you need one message me the size and I’ll bring one for you. We are always accepting donations to help end reckless driving and the families affected by it.

This was how my last moments were with my son,
8:46pm Nick text me he was on his way home and loved me
9:08pm the accident happened
10:15pm is when he passed
2:00 am I found out by BBPD. This was after hours of knowing something was wrong I got his friends involved who were driving to hospitals and looking for him with all their might
This was avoidable on many levels
1. The other car was doing drugs and passed out at the wheel, crossed the median and hit my sons car going 87mph
Dont do drugs and drive
2. The woman who was driving was in court 3 days prior for drug charges and was dismissed. This wasnt her first offense she was in and out of the court systems. My son would still be here if the system had a system for drug addiction which is an overwhelming issue around the country.
3. The car was stolen and the guy who owned the car was in rehab.
4. The people in the car had been in and out of rehab centers, these rehab centers are a money hungry machine taking peoples $$ and giving hope yet failing them every time. When will the rehabs be held accountable? The rehab these few prople where in should be held responsible also.
I lost myself that day and have been rebuilding the me without my son who blessed my life for 24 years. This has been the most difficult time of my life. It also affected the rest of my life, dreams for my son with a family and grandkids with his beautiful smile and soul is forever lost. His sister now grows up a single child after having a brother for 18 years of her life. She will miss so many life journies with him that so many still have.
Cherish every day. Spread kindness. Appreciate who you have in your life that supports and loves you. We never know when our story ends and eternal life begins. 🙏🏼❤️
