I will be posting pics of what I’ve been working on the last couple months. This year has been very difficult from losing a sister, relatives, friends, family of friends, some to Covid. It was difficult to get anything done this past summer due to Covid, and not being able to get into Tandy Leather. Then when I was able to start getting leather again production at work kicked in full blast along with tons of overtime making me step away again for a couple more months. I’ve been pretty busy since mid November playing catch-up. I’m still not taking any new orders since I’m still playing catch-up. I’ve got lots of work and a handful of shoulder holsters among other projects. In the meantime, checkout my current finished projects.

Finished about 15 different projects ranging from holsters, belts, and wallets, some ordered pre-Covid. Between not being able to order material for a few months, to sewing machine issues, and now full time job getting busier. It has backed me up significantly considering I only do this on my off days. Took a week to recover, and get reorganized to be more efficient. Still have about 2-3 months of orders. I probably won’t take additional orders till October. Thank you for those that are patient and understanding.👍🏾

A few wallets I’ve been working on for the last 3-4 weeks, Covid set me back several months, for awhile I couldn’t order material and supplies. I also have a full time job as an essential employee, so patience is a virtue. Every wallet, holster I build takes time, from making a pattern, cutting the leather by hand at most times, to building, shaping, stamping, lasering each item to a customer’s specifications. On average time spent on each item is a week to several weeks depending on project, especially if I’ve never built what is requested, so lots of time and research is also invested in each project. A lot of time, heart, and effort is invested in each project. Not to mention very limited work space, my living/dining room is my work area, also limited to the hand tools, I’ve invested in. I do not make a profit, Whatever money I receive is used to buy material, hand tools, gun molds, It took several years of stitching by hand to afford a leather sewing machine, and even at that some projects still are stitched by hand.🤨😁👍🏾
