Notice Regarding Active Law Enforcement Presence at Eagle Ridge Mall

We are aware of an ongoing incident near the Dillard’s area of the property involving a death investigation by the Lake Wales Police Department.

First and foremost, our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to the family and loved ones of the individual involved.

The Eagle Ridge Mall management team and security staff are fully cooperating with law enforcement as they conduct their investigation. Please be assured that this is an isolated incident contained to a vehicle in the parking area, and there is no active threat to the safety of our shoppers or employees.

The mall remains open, though you will notice an increased law enforcement presence on-site. We ask that you please avoid the immediate area near Dillard's to allow investigators to do their work.

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation during this time. Any further updates or details regarding the investigation will be released directly by the Lake Wales Police Department.
