So excited to be able to make 90% of my arrangements with farm grown flowers!! All winter I have to purchase flowers from my wholesaler, but not for the next 5 months I won’t!! I don’t grow roses though so they will always be wholesale.
These were my orders yesterday (along with a few others)! One for an anniversary and two big arrangements for the stage at Lakeside Lutheran High School’s graduation!

Even the tongues are fuzzy rose gold😍😍😍. I was soooo excited to see they popped over night!! I also found a gorgeous poppy! I’ve worked hard to make sure I have early, beautiful flowers and May is NOT disappointing!!❤️🌸🌸

My dad used to tell me it wasn’t a fashion show down at the barn, and the “cows don’t care” what I looked like. Jokes on him, Pancake cares deeply about these bibs!!😂😂😂

Long before I ever thought about growing cut flowers and designing for weddings and events, I would make my mom arrangements on Mother’s Day. I’d just collect the perennials from my yard, and add flowering bushes/trees. She LOVED them and would “oooh” and “ahhh” at them (I’m sure she would do that even if they were horrible!😂).
She always praised me for my creativity, and claimed to have zero creativity for herself. But you know what she was AMAZING at? Taking care of EVERYONE. Feeding everyone, figuring out and planning details, for everything. This is exactly what allowed me to putz around in nature, fall in love with animals, and learn to create things I adored.
Who knew I’d make a living doing that some day?? My mom didn’t get a chance to see my flower farm or my (recent)designs. But I know she wouldn’t be surprised. She would, however, be impressed that I’ve somehow come up with a way to keep this all organized!!😂😂😂❤️🌸❤️🌸❤️
Happy Mother’s Day to all! I am beyond blessed to have had my mom, and to now be raising the two beautiful children in these pics!
I’ve also included some recent arrangements I’ve enjoyed making!!❤️🌸
