We’re excited to announce that Josh Engle has officially purchased The Bait Box and Set The Hook Guide Service!
Josh has been a huge part of the business, and I truly couldn’t think of a better person to take it over. He’s local, has planted his roots in Lake Preston, and has a real passion for the fishing community here. As the owner of his own tackle company, Josh brings a lot of knowledge, experience, and excitement to the business, and I know he will keep things moving in the right direction for years to come.
This decision did not come easy, but with so many exciting things happening at The Okoboji Lodge, along with our kids getting busier and busier, it has become clear that this is the right time for a new chapter. Family is incredibly important to me, and I’m looking forward to spending more time being present for all the activities and moments that come with raising growing kids.
Mindy and I want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported The Bait Box and Set The Hook Guide Service over the years. The friendships, memories, and support from this fishing community have meant more than you know.
Please stop in this weekend and support Josh! The shop is fully stocked with everything you need to catch fish, and I know he’s going to do an outstanding job.
