It's been a minute since I've posted here. You know the last two years and the limits we all faced.These treasures can be purchased at Fresh Pickens. Fresh Pickens is on FB. They are located on Hwy 383 about 12 miles north of Iowa,La. They are open today. Will began staying open several days a week now that spring has arrived. Go check them out.

Interactive baby memory book. I have covered the babies name on the front cover. Most pages have magnet closures. There is a waterfall picture page where the pictures flip up as you pull the tab. There is also two pop up pages. One has a baby that pops up as you lift the page. For month 12 when you lift the page it pops up and has an area for 4 birthday pictures.

Fire starters... we tried the first batch of the year a few days ago. You won't have problems starting your fire with these. Even starting the first fire of the year. We all know once you get a little bed of ashes it's much easier to start a fire. However, see the pic of totally clean fireplace with the fire starter. Yep, fire caught right away with just one starter puck. I have a neighbor who is totally off grid. She cooks on a wood stove and heats her home with an old wood burning heater stove. She buys my fire starters and loves them.

It's been a minute since I've posted on my page, so sorry! A lot has been going on... about a month ago someone very dear to me passed. She was cremated and there was a very small private memorial service at the cemetery. I handmade the memorial brochures and sprinkle of love tea bags. The tea bags were for those in attendance to sprinkle along with the ashes that were sprinkled by a family member. They are tea bags filled with dried flowers. A few words were spoken and a scripture was read. I have her name covered as she never wanted her name or face on social media. Over the last several months I've made several Memory Folio's. These are small journals with pictures and scriptures. A place for the grieving family member to write as they work through grief. A place to write special words spoken and a place to keep cards and pictures. Each handmade with love and prayer. I'm sorry but these are too personal to post. Also been making a few journals and other things that Veranda Treasures make. Be watching for pictures over the coming weeks. Thank you for patiently waiting for me to return.
