When the marketplace pickup turns into a private pick......I don't shop on marketplace much, but maybe I should. It never hurts to ask if they have anything else they are trying to sell.
The answer I got yesterday was "sure everything in the house is for sale, look around and make a pile" and make a pile I did.

Today was a very productive and long day. Did a big flip on the booth at Sweet Pickins in Alabama. Fall vibes creeping in...I think the brown and green is a new favorite combination. I'll have some Halloween in before you know it.

This week's booth flip at Yellowhammer Antiques in Leeds, Alabama. Fall is here with all the yummy warm and toasty colors. As always I gladly ship (excluding large furniture pieces). So reach out if you see something you like. I can also take items to my other locations Sweet Pickins in Alabama or The Olde Marketplace for purchase when claiming and committing to pick up/pay in a timely manner.

Sometimes it is the smallest thing that makes me smile the most. Nostalgia is one of the biggest factors that drives the hunt for vintage and antiques for me. This little recipe booklet may not be the most valuable to collectors but to me it is my elementary school years flooding back. We had a sweet retired teacher we called Mama Moore who would come to school and read us Uncle Remus stories about Brer Rabbit and all of his other characters. Anytime I find something with Brer Rabbit on it I have to grab it. My sweet hubby knows me so well, while working our vendor show today he took a stroll around the other booths and came back with this treasure. Now to find the perfect frame for it. Best 4.00 spent in a long time.

Wow, it was a fantastic show today. Cheaha Bottle, Antique, And Collectible Show we will definitely be back. Thank you so much for being so welcoming and encouraging. We walked away with some new treasures for us and a good day of sales. But the best of all was the people we met and all the knowledge that was shared.

Some really cool stuff in this building and so much knowledge to soak up from the seasoned collectors. I ship if you see something you're interested in.

It was another great 2 days of estate sales haul. So many great finds in this one. I think I have hit a record for the most pie safes sourced in two weeks. Pie safe and enamel top table will be available at the Rustik Bucket vendor show in September in Odenville Alabama. I'll start packing the enclosed trailer this week with all of the treasures I've been sourcing for this awesome show.

Here's the haul from our only day on the Hwy 127 World's longest yard sale. We only did Alabama. Found some awesome finds. I didn't realize how amazing one find was until setting up for this picture. It was a make a pile of smalls situation and I saw the watch in a Lady Elgin box. I like the art deco look and thought it would be great for a project, put it in my pile and didn't think about it again, paid the seller for my haul and we were on our way.....y'all it is 10k white gold....... I'm still on a junk drunk high.....if you know you know.
