We’ve shared a lot this month about why Pride matters. About community. About visibility. About creating spaces where people feel welcome exactly as they are!!!

But eventually, you have to do more than talk about it.

So we made a candle 😉

You Make the World More Colorful is our newest specialty candle, and 20% of every sale will be donated to Pride Lafayette!! The scent is a bright blend of blueberry, lychee, jasmine, and vanilla. Sweet, hopeful, and full of joy

Growing up in the Midwest, we know how much it matters to see yourself reflected in your community. We know how much it matters when someone says, “You belong here.” Pride isn’t just about celebration. It’s about making sure people know they are seen, valued, and loved. This candle is our small way of helping make that happen!

It feels incredibly cheesy to make a whole post about this, but we’re doing it anyway…

Flora was voted 1st Place for Best Gift/Specialty Store and 2nd Place for Best Home Goods Store in Best of the Wabash 2026!!
What makes this one special is that we’re not competing in a category that’s only small businesses. The options range from local shops to big box retailers, and somehow this community chose us! 🥹🥰

A little candle shop in Downtown Lafayette. We never take that for granted.

During Pride Month, it felt especially meaningful to gather in a room full of joy, community, and drag. Candles with Queens this year sold out in less than two weeks, and every walk-in seat was filled too! 🥹

Drag is an important part of LGBTQ+ culture, and we’re grateful to everyone who showed up to celebrate it with us!! Thank you to the queens, our guests, and this incredible community for continuing to create spaces where people can be themselves!

How is May already almost over? ☀️

We’ve already had such a fun start to market season and our early summer schedule is looking SO good!! You’ll still find us at the throughout the season, but we’re also really excited to finally head to the for the first time this year 🫶

And of course we’ll be back for one of our favorite summer traditions, around the Tippecanoe County Courthouse on June 27th!

Ready for more early mornings, iced coffees, and talking about candles in the heat all summer long 🥹🥰
