Jessica Snow (she/her) is a designer, printmaker, and educator whose creative work is influenced by a love of analog, hand-driven methods. She combines this sensibility with her digital design work. In this way, she transects both the analog and digital world, bringing the value of a holistic visual experience to her clients. Jessica firmly believes that excellent book and editorial design serves to elevate the message of the author and create a linger-worthy reader experience.

As a book club and bookstore focusing on Black women, we created a publishing house just for us!🙌🏾ABC Press publishes books written by Black woman authors, and our publishing areas include:

Author Talks are back! We are pleased to welcome Author MRS K to the Authoress Noire Program. Join us tomorrow evening at 6:00 PM CST on IG as we discuss her book, "How Far Is The Nearest Subway?"

Mrs. Jackson is a MRS K, living in Georgia. She and her family have lived in the Peach State on and off for the past 20 years. When not writing, she enjoys traveling, learning new recipes and spending time with her family and friends. Having previously worked as a freelance writer, she knows finding “framily” resonates with others who live outside the area in which they grew up. She wrote this novel to encourage readers to enjoy the journey, as they experience the fun of living in a new city while meeting lifelong friends along the way.

About the book: A fish out of water story centered around five friends who are transplants to Atlanta. Through life's ups and downs, as wives and moms raising southern kids (MRS K), friendship is the tie that binds.
