In-N-Out Burger Update!

After months of diligent work by La Habra's Community Development Department staff, In-N-Out Burger has committed to the improvement of their existing location at Lambert Road and Palm Street by purchasing the property on the eastern side of the restaurant. A typical In-N-Out is designed to accommodate a queue of 16-17 vehicles; the acquisition will increase the amount of space for vehicle queuing on site (as many as 28 vehicles at a time) so that there is less chance for vehicles to queue in the street and block traffic.

Of even more interest, In-N-Out has committed to build a second restaurant in La Habra. The new drive-thru restaurant will be located on the north side of Whittier Boulevard between Beach Boulevard and Hacienda Road (the Greg Jones commercial development). Although formal applications have not yet been submitted for either location, In-N-Out hopes to submit the applications by the end of this calendar year. Both projects will require Planning Commission approval. In regard to the proposed Whittier Boulevard location, In-N-Out plans to hold a community meeting in the near future to address concerns over food odors, traffic, and other issues that have bene voiced by residents in the neighborhood immediately north of the proposed restaurant.

Come enjoy a movie at the La Habra High School pool. Pool toys and games are provided, and lifeguard staff is on duty. Hot dogs, snacks and beverages are for sale. Bring your own chairs and blankets to sit on.
