Box Style
✨ Presentation style, flat/foldover, standard, and tall are some options to get started with.

Need to go a step further with inner packaging pieces or a different kind of style? Let us know and we'll find the perfect fit!

Composition
✨ Fiberboard is made from linerboard and heavy paper medium. Linerboard is the flat, outer surface that adheres to the medium which is the wavy, fluted paper between the liners. The strength of cardboard depends on the linerboard and medium combinations (listed below).

-Single Wall: One layer of flute is glued between two sheets of linerboard
-Double Wall: Two outer liners, one inner liner, and two layers of fluted paper in-between
-Triple Wall: Two outer liners, two inner liners, and three layers of fluter paper in-between

Fluting
✨ Larger flutes are ideal for shipping as they provide greater compression strength and cushioning. Smaller flutes are great for retail shipping as they provide better printability and foldability.

Based on your product size, weight, and shape, we can help gauge which flute profile (A, B, C, E, F) works best.

2022 is here and so are our new year goals!

We asked some of our team what they want to accomplish this next year and here's what they said:

✨ Stacy (Manager of Operations): "My new year's resolution, as well as my hubby’s, is to put our phones down while together at home or out doing things and be more present. Basically… We are breaking up with our phones."
✨ Chrissy (President): "My resolution is to set aside one night a week to go out and do something fun (eg concerts, movies, new restaurants, shopping) with Peter and/or by myself."
✨ Peter (CEO): "Working on better eating and exercise habits."
✨ Anthony (Designer, Structural Design Engineer, Production Specialist): "I’m trying to ride [bike] to the office a couple times a month. That would be rad."
✨ Jake (Production, Sales): "For the new year I am trying to work out 2-3 times a week, and spend more time with my family!"

Meet Peter, the CEO of Platinum Container.

Pete loves rocking out to “No Women No Cry” by Bob Marley, whether that be in his free time or with his own cover on a guitar.

One of his favorite afternoon snacks is a smoothie.

It’s no shock that his sign is Sagittarius as he channels the positive work traits of a Sagittarius to a T. Able to see the possibilities, take risks, keep an open mind, work hard, and emphasize a work-life balance for both himself and his employees, Pete aligns perfectly with one of the best career paths for a Sagittarius, which happens to be in sales.

Pete’s favorite thing about working at Platinum is the people that he gets to work with every day, both inside and outside the office!
