Our Artist in Residence program has been divine since the very 1st month of our Oolala Consign opening.

We travel far and wide to find the best, most creative, disciplined, fun artist we can.

Fatty Catty is for sure checked boxes when it comes down to it. One of the most tenured artists, Elise puts together polymer clay figurines to custom requested work.
Watercolors from cats to fruit and the coolest of cards.

Elise is one of our Artists in Residence for the month of June 2026 at Oolala Consign and Furniture Annex in Jackson Plaza.

It is a true pleasure to work with the diverse and talented regional
Artists in Residence at Oolala Consign and Furniture Annex in Jackson Plaza.

Nancy will kick off the program and be a part of the 5 year anniversary this month and in store tomorrow, Thursday, June 11th, 2026
from
11am to 3 pm.

It is even better when tenured for all of the public to continue to have access and one on one conversations with them as they share with us their process and reasoning to why they are invested in and elevated in the creative arts they choose to become experts in.

That said, for the next few days we will be celebrating, highlighting and introducing new AIR and/ or reintroducing people who have been with us long term.

Nancy L. Von Arx will kick off the month long celebration and be a part of the 5 year anniversary this month.
She will be in store tomorrow, Thursday, June 11th, 2026
from
11am to 3 pm.

As a talented seamstress,
Nancy is also the creator of local handmade key items like aprons for Oktoberfest royal family members, she is a designer of newly developed cross body bags for just about any event in the area over the course of the year and she is ALWAYS known at finding and investing in the most fun fabrics for her projects.

Join us in welcoming her to the shop by stopping in.

Market Street Bakery Update! The Opus team has been bustling around our shiny new kitchen as we test equipment, adjust recipes, and generally get the space ready for production. The good news: the kitchen is running smoothly, our new hires are getting up to speed quickly, and we've worked out all sorts of kinks. Unfortunately, we've hit a snag with the exterior of the space that has prevented us from opening when we originally hoped to. Top Humans are working diligently to address said issue, and we hope to have a resolution soon.

Regarding Onalaska Opus, we moved all of our pastry equipment to La Crosse a couple of weeks ago and so we are unable to reopen our Onalaska shop while we wait for the green light to open our new store. Yes, we bummed and frustrated, too. But good things come to those who wait! 😁🥐

We have to laugh at ourselves often around here.
Today had a series of many versions of that.

We also had someone bring in about 50 pieces of deck and backyard summer items to make long hot days more comfortable.

The two merged at some point near the end of a long day, with a farmers market start and you get a photo shoot out of it.

The rules are
wear your sunscreen,
own a protective stylish hat, grab a high fashion pair of sunglasses
and get a comfortable lounge chair.
Oh,
And buckle in.
Summer is just getting going.

We have outdoor mats, hammock chairs, stools, loungers, rockers, cushions for patio furniture and travel seats, Planters, plant stands, flags, and the best album selection for sure.

All less than $25.00 each.

You just have to stop in on Tuesday and grow your stylish porch space for summer with these cool pieces.
