Now that we’ve got 40 whole followers 🎉 here at Riverbend Trading Co. I figured it was time to take a minute to introduce myself.

My name is Amanda and and I live in SW Washington state with my fiancé. I am a reader and a tea drinker and I’m always down for a cold margarita.

I do project management by day and make earrings for my little small business at night. I’ve been dreaming about Riverbend Trading Co. for years and I just knew that 2022 would be the year of big things and if I didn’t do it now, I wasn’t going to. My style is a mix of vintage, boho & western and I am an avid thrift shopper & plant collector.

Sustainability is important to me and I wanted to incorporate that into my jewelry with ‘upcycled’ thrifted and recycled earring components.

This is also a place for women to celebrate and raise each other up. There’s no room in life for competition and there is room for all of us in this community.

Did you know we also have hoop earrings in the shop? Leather fringe will always be a staple in our products but I wanted to offer other styles of vintage and western earrings for everyone’s unique style.

All of these hoops measure approx. 2.5 inches in total length (earlobe to bottom of the hoop) and feature hypoallergenic stainless steel ear wires.

Picture 1: upcycled white glass beads with center black glass bead featuring inlaid shimmery cream white flakes.

Picture 2: upcycled stainless steel beads that have the look of Navajo pearls with rhodonite pink and black marble stones at the top.

Picture 3: teal blue wood beads with pure copper accent beads on top.

I love the idea of vintage and Art Deco combined with western leather fringe. Style can be so unique and creative and it really opens up how many different ways you can wear these earrings. I lovingly named this style Gatsby’s Revenge and it comes in 5 different gorgeous colors! The longer fringe allows you to wear them with your hair up or down and the timeless vintage style carries you from your favorite summer rodeo or concert all the way to wearing them to work or on a date.
