When people tell me "stick to crochet, stay out of politics" I think for a bit "you know what, I wish I could."

Honestly, I don't kinda wish I could just make silly mushroom designs all day but that's not the world we live in. Art is political, babe, it's just how it is. & even though I can't be sure I'm affecting anything, I still feel like I should say or do something. So, this is some of what I do.

As Johnny Cash said "But 'til we start to make a move to make a few things right, you'll never see me wear a suit of white."

My favorite thing about crocheting is the creativity and imagination you can put into it! I made this for my daughter and gifted it to her on Christmas ❤️🖤 she was pretty thrilled!

I definitely forgot to post it 🤦🏽‍♀️

I had a wonderful time at the Dog Days days of Summer event on Thursday. Being a part of my local community was really the best part of it all. I learned a lot from my first event and I'm looking forward to taking that knowledge with me to future events. Thank you to everybody that stopped by and said hi to me and I hope I get to meet more of your smiling faces in the future! ️ 💕

I hope to see many of your beautiful faces during the Dog Days of Summer event hosted by the Kokomo Humane Society tonight! They will be raffling off my German Shepherd plushie along with other items!
I'll be there from 5-9Pm 💕 There will be other vendors, food, a beer garden, and games! you can bring your doggos and family and have fun!
