Today I officially separated from the group I have been doing home inspections with and will be focusing on preparing to move back to the mission field full-time. We are going back to Honduras, but I will be doing handyman or what I have been calling side jobs until we have the support raised and can actually make the move to Roatan.

So, I realize I do not post often on here but I am currently doing disaster recovery work with the Small Business Administration again. I just moved to the TN and KY areas this past week.

So, I know I don't post often but I am back active with the SBA doing disaster recovery work along the gulf coast. Been a busy storm season this year.... Lots of people in need and I am really thankful for some great guys that I work with and understanding clients and agents that show me to help out down here in a way that most people cannot do.

I am back in Knoxville, but I am still working on Puerto Rico stuff. It has been a great experience meeting so many Puerto Ricans and getting to play a small part in the recovery process. I will be working from here for as long as they let me, but after being gone for 6 months it was time to get back home with my family.

So there are still places here in Puerto Rico that do not have power yet. There are still homes with no roof... Still roads that are not passable due to landslides or wash outs. Still so much work to be done. So many small businesses that have been closed since Irma and will never reopen. It has been both amazing and humbling to meet so many people that have been and are still going through so many challenges. I continue to pray the people here including those of us working as part of the relief effort feel the presence of God and are able to draw from that presence to share it with those that we come into contact with every single day.

I am taking some time to help with disaster recovery effort, so will be doing that for next 6 months or so at least.
