Joyce's Creative Country Gift Shop Joyce's Creative Country is a unique gift shop nestled in the hills of Western Pennsylvania. Joyce has been professional painting with oils since 1986.

She has a wide selection of artwork on saws, slates, crocks, and tinware. In addition, Joyce can do special orders when provided with clear photographs. I want to take a minute to brag on my mom! Check out the recent pictures posted of her artwork. This is truly a gift from God. She has had no official art lessons--apart from High School art class. This gift came out of obedience. What a blessing!

These slates can be hung inside or outside on a deck or porch. As long as the artwork is protected from direct sunlight or harsh weather elements, they will last for years.

Joyce purchases crocks from a company in Ohio. She treats each crock with a base coat to prepare the crock with the oil paint. As in all her artwork, each design is carefully hand-painted and detailed to create an amazing picture. The crocks are then treated with a clear coat which will protect the oils.

Round blades can range in size from 6 inches up to 18 inches. There are often larger blades but can be more challenging to paint. Each of these blades are cleaned, coated with 3-4 layers of flat black paint and a rust protectant before the oils are hand-painted. As in all pieces of artwork, a clear coat of sealant is applied to protect the oils.
