Attention jammers — we're delaying the Ukulele Club by one week for November in observance of Veteran's Day! Our next meeting is on the third Tuesday in November, the 18th, from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM!

Our Ukulele Club is open to all teens and adults — no matter your skill level. Whether you're just picking up a uke for the first time or have been playing for years, come enjoy some low-pressure, high-fun music-making at the library!

We'll have a few ukuleles (3 to 5) on hand for those who don't have their own. First-timers and beginners should plan to arrive on time if they need help getting set up or want to borrow an instrument. We’ll also have a simple resource packet available at the meeting to help get you started.

No registration is required, but if you'd like to receive song sheets, chords, and tips ahead of time, sign up with your email.

Tuesday Tip: Wipe down your strings when you're done playing to double their life!
Strings lose their tone largely due to the dirt and oils left on them from your fingers. Simply take a microfiber cloth, pinch the string with it to cover all sides, and run the cloth up and down its length. Boom—you're done!There are plenty of string cleaning products on the market, but if you wipe your strings down after each playing session, you won't need them.
