It's been a journey. We moved to Klamath Falls last March and we really haven't had the opportunity to delve back into our crafting due to power issues (We are off grid and didn't have a lot of power available from our solar.) Weather conditions, (We didn't have enough room in our trailer, and outside was dusty, windy, and then extreme heat, followed by a lot of snow.), and access to our crafting materials as they were either packed, displaced, or not all together.

And then we had to move our whole farm again. Which, we are still recovering from, but, we are in a much better place and situation.

So, we are ready for our reboot. We will be at the Bonanza Farmer's Market this summer, as well as working to set up a store in the barn on the property that will also include essential hardware and possibly farm items ( Hay, and general feed) up here on the mountain off of Bly Cutoff. (Suggestions for what we should carry is always appreciated. )

What do you have to look forward to? Stock will not always be the same. and custom orders always welcomed.

Leather: Custom knife sheaths, bracelets, chokers, suspenders, custom key chains, earrings, pouches, dice bags, belt bottle holders, armor, yes, I said armor. Custom Leather covered shields and more.

Wood: Signs, antiqued shelves, ornaments, wine holders, trivet, deck dominoes, Tic-tac toe, candle holders, coat trees, and more.

Sublimation and Vinyl: Tumblers, mugs, beer glasses, sippy cups, coasters, bookmarks, shirts, hoodies, flags, kid capes, keychains, custom decals, decals, jewelry, and more. (I can use any picture for sublimation which makes great gifts, memorials, etc. )

Earth pottery and Ceramics.

Glass: Etched glass, custom lamps, wind chimes, solar fairy jars, potion bottles, candle holders, mason glasses, and more.

Wearables: Earrings, necklaces, wire wrapping, hair accessories

Sewing: Vintage aprons, baby burp rags, blankets, pillow shams, rabbit mats, cloaks, half cloaks, kids costumes, Victorian bracers, dice bags, and more.

Matt and I have been on a lot of adventures, and now we are to embark on another one. Thankfully our new property is only 5ish hours away, not 3 days with rabbits, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. lol
The new challenge is that there is no water or power yet. But, for the most part, we have done this before, with the bonus of having water and power. But other than that, we started our farm there in Snowflake AZ with bare land, a lot of wind, and realized that the sun in Arizona was out to kill me... and our furniture, plants, trees, the barn.. lol But, we met amazing people and came together as a community helping each other out.

We lived in our motorhome for more than 5 years and loved it. Now, we have a smaller trailer, but, our king mattress fits. (Priorities) We have propane, and a generator, and are working on solar. And not long after being there, our kids, and grandson will be with us. That makes all of the challenges worth it.

I don't, however, think that I could have handled any of it, had it not been for my mom. Oddly enough, telling me when that she wouldn't help us financially, not even to help us get back home. I was pretty resentful for a while, and for the 2 weeks while I waited to pick Matt up, I was pretty scared and cried myself to sleep. I was staying in the downtown San Diego YMCA. The cockroaches could carry you away... I was hearing drug deals and girls with their Johns, as well as screaming children. I came to realize just how sheltered I was. After Matt joined me, we decided that we would be better off living in our car, a 1995 Toyota Supra. Thankfully, we could put the back seat down. But that was only so that we could store more stuff in the back. We slept in the front seats. I worked at Ghiradelli's Chocolate Shop on 5th Ave, and Matt got a job working at the movie theater a block down. Sounds like a dream right? Chocolate and popcorn. lol But, the theater had to throw away all of their leftover food at the end of the night and even put anything nasty on top of it to ruin it in case someone went dumpster diving. What a ridiculous thing to do. Now, don't get me wrong, I know why, but when we have so many hungry people, feed them... We didn't know about food boxes or free meals at local churches. We knew that we had chocolate... ice cream... shakes... etc and popcorn, if we bought the popcorn. .99 Jack in the Box burgers was fine dining. But, after living in our car for a couple weeks, it was pretty comfortable. We stored gallons of water, bought bread, and the jar of peanut butter with the swirl of jelly. (That was fabulous). Took showers on the beach, and park bathrooms. had a gallon of water just for washing up. Got scammed in 3 card monty. He still laughs at me about that one. I cried because I bet the last of our food money... All $5.00 of it. I was sure that I knew where that Queen had gone...

But, I digress. I, and we, now have the courage to take this next step on our journey with caution, but also excitement. Our goal was to find a place where we don't have to give up everything that we built up on our farm and for our business. Our bunnies, huskies, our cats, our crafts, and new business. But the most important thing is that we have our family.

So, Bly Oregon, we accept the challenge and look forward to meeting and being a part of the Klamath Falls Community.

Custom underwater scene lamp that I hand drew and painted. Funny thing is, when I finished one panel, I realized that it was upside down. But, it looks better this way, than the way that it is supposed to sit. What looks like dark spots are rhinestones that sparkle when the light is off.
