Sunday only this weekend! We have an unexpected family event on Saturday so we’re not having the Saturday pop-up. The racks will be bursting with vibrant, lightweight cotton clothing. I feel like everyone needs to try just one Zapapa garment - it’s a gateway situation, as many of Zapapa’s customers can attest!

COTTON LAWN - silky, lightweight, fine-woven -
Zapapa’s favorite summer fabric. These photos are of a fraction of a smidgen of Zapapa‘s new handmade cotton lawn offerings that will make their debut at the June 28 and July 10-11 Kennebunk Depot pop-ups. It’s definitely the fabric you want for 90° days!

Zapapa has cotton lawn kaftans, pants, skirts, tank tops, tunics, dresses and pajamas. All handmade in dead-stock high-end fabrics like Liberty or London, and all small, small, small batch.

Zapapa loves Inez’s handknit wool animals! New moose and beavers working their way up from Oaxaca to Maine as we speak and will be available at Zapapa’s July popups.

Inez lives in San Sebastian Rio Hondo, Oaxaca, and we met when I visited the remote mountain town several years ago with good friends. She can make any animal even if she’s never seen it! She uses her local wool and natural plant dyes, so the animals are baby-safe (and adult-safe, too, I suppose — maybe we’re all getting to the point where we could use a pacifier every now and then.)
