Thrive Market’s Cacao powder superfood is my favorite cocoa powder substitution for baking, hot chocolate mixes, smoothies, you name it!

This swap gives you more protein, extra energy, and added dietary fiber in foods you would normally consider ‘bad for you’. I truly cannot tell the difference in my food. Keep in mind—it has NO sugar, so you may need to compensate in recipes.

G R A T E F U L. That’s what we are this morning. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of Eastern North Carolina, and particularly our home county as we begin to deal with the aftermath of this storm. No trees down in our yard, and no flooding on our street. We are safe, and we are grateful.

On another note, we have no power, so this is breakfast! Smashed avocado 🥑, grapes, sliced apple, and a few white cheese slices. YUM! people forget produce that’s unrefrigerated when doing hurricane prep, but it’s very needed with all the processed food you will be eating

Currently, I’m at a company retreat—doesn’t mean I have to totally ditch . I found these adorable Minute Muffins from Kodiak Cakes! I knew I would want something sweet later at night, so I brought these with me. Current flavor—Pumpkin Dark Chocolate 🍫

Buy fresh organic produce, dice and seal, then freeze it! Take the work out of fresh eating, and pre-prep just a little! It is WELL worth it.

This is just one head of cauliflower from Food Lion, and it it will easily be pulled out of the freezer for roasting (with spices added) for an easy dinner side. We’re looking at about 4 servings here if adding to a full meal. 🥦🥕

🗣I admit I haven’t been in a Kroger in awhile, but something I saw just shocked me.....

I kept looking for all the products I normally buy, and I couldn’t find them—why, you might ask? I hadn’t found the 1 aisle entitled ‘NATURAL FOODS’ yet..... Are you kidding me? 👀👀👀
