New in the shop -

Pretty vintage Christmas, holiday blenders, and a festive panel and yardage for wildlife lovers! For the guys, Historic Route 66. And lots of patterns for those fat quarter bundles that called your name!

Mark your calendars for the Way Out West Shop Hop September 18th to October 3rd - seven shops and two weeks to do some shopping! In the meantime, bear with us as we place some new cabinetry and do a little rearranging - kind of a mess, but we’ll get there!

Another hot week - stop in, cool off, and get that next project going!

New in the shop -

I am loving My Secret Garden! Pretty yardage and panel, precuts, a pattern for the cutest pillow, and a panel to make an adorable bunny house and occupants! Can hardly wait to get started on a project with these! Also in, Historic Route 66 and some super bright blenders. We’ve restocked our rechargeable mini vacs, and have a new iron cleaner stick which always comes in handy.

It’s a little messy looking in the shop as new cabinetry is arriving a little at a time, but I’m excited to make some changes and hopefully make it easier to shop!

Lollies and Bonbons! These 1/2 yd bundles give a bundle of variety for prints and backgrounds! I made a small runner using Lollies and a thimble ruler - quick and easy! Also just arrived, more Halloween and Christmas blenders!

New in the shop -

Quilt Seeds placemat patterns, Nos. 1 through 8! Each pattern gives fabric requirements and directions for one placemat, so make as many as you like, or make a runner, topper, wallhanging, quilt, bag - wherever the block sends you! Each pattern has added rick-rack for a little dimension and fun. It’s sunflower time so I’m going to start working on mine…

Way Out West Shop Hop is coming soon - September 18th thru October 4th - mark it on your calendar! We have 8 shops participating this year covering a wide area - what’s your route going to be??

We have one machine left in the shop - a Bernina 335. This is a great little machine for taking to classes or retreats, for someone with limited sewing space, or just getting started. I love sewing on it, but I don’t really need another machine! We also have a few Bernina books available, an accessory case, and large machine trolley. Come in or call for sale prices - some very good deals happening!

New in the shop -

When Snow Falls, a lovely wintry group; Evergreen Ice, frosty batiks; Imprint, three earthy-patterned flannels (a great 3-yard quilt); Windfall, rich autumn tones (another great 3-yard quilt!); Bluebells and Buttercups, super sweet prints; and Sewing Season, colors that are just flaming!

No classes or open sews this week, but we’ll be working on some new projects and prepping for some changes in the shop. Watch for lots of new sale items as we move things around!

Update!
335 is the only machine still available!

We have an even bigger BERNINA SALE!!

Most of you know I sell Bernina under the dealer in Hays, Sew Easy Stitch Lounge, whose owner is retiring. All Bernina machines, luggage, and books in my shop are marked down and it’s a crazy deal if you’re looking for a new machine!

I have in my shop a Kaffe 770QE with embroidery module and all the gifts with purchase, which includes luggage for both, Kaffe fabric bundle, and a fantastic embroidery package; Kaffe 475QE with luggage gift; Bernina 335, a great little machine for travel or beginning; L460 serger (and I can’t believe I haven’t bought this for myself!); accessory box for feet, etc; and several books, which come in pretty handy!

Stop in and take one of these for a test drive! The price will never be better than this!

New in the shop -

Flannel Season yardage has arrived! Six beautiful pieces - check these out, as well as the precuts already here! And what would Christmas be without the Grinch? The first piece is running yardage, but could be cut as a panel, and three new coordinating prints - we have several Grinch prints already in stock that will work with these as well. Also new, interfacing with a 2” grid, and thread snips in a variety of colors.

We have BOM open sew today and tomorrow - the final two blocks! Our monthly fabric sale is Friday and Saturday, the 24th and 25th, 20% off all yardage. And this week, all sale fabric and items are 40% off(one yd minimum on yardage)!

Smitten Chickens - so cute! Everything you need to make the Country Chicks quilt - pattern, FQ bundle, and yardage for background and borders! More vintage Christmas prints; a great Christmas quilt kit for the new or experienced quilter which includes a companion book; beautiful Stonehenge FQ bundles; handy pattern keepers for all those Villa Rosa patterns; a couple new patterns for precuts; and a sweet acorn runner/topper pattern from Lori Holt.

Lots of ideas running through my head right now, just need a little time…

New in the shop -

Some awesome fall prints and blenders, all with a touch of metallic. True Love yardage just arrived, and the blues and greens are gorgeous! Candlelight Christmas is perfect for the lover of traditional Christmas color, and Silent Night has beautiful blues and golds. Rhapsody is just big, bright, and fun and will partner with so many big brights we already have in the shop. And a couple lattice prints which I love using for binding or narrow borders.

We start our True North open sew tomorrow - I’m excited to make this!

We’re closing early today, the 15th, at 5:15 as I’m helping with VBS.
