As I locked the door for the last time tonight a mix of emotions hit me. Sadness, relief, anger, happiness, regret, excitement, just everything all at one time. Thank every single one of you for supporting the shop all these years. I always say “we” instead of “I” when talking about it because I never felt alone in it. I always had one of you that I could call on to help. Sometimes that was something as simple as saying an idea out loud and getting feedback, sometimes it was organizing drop offs, hanging stuff, making a purchase or just chatting. So for everyone that has ever helped me in any way, I’ll never be able to say exactly how much I appreciate you. It has been a wild 7 years and even though I am mostly sad that this part is ending, I am very thankfully and feel lucky to have met all of you. I was talking to a couple of you and threw out the idea of a breakfast or a lunch once a month, just a way for us ladies to all get together and catch up. I’ve made some awesome friends and would love to introduce you all to each other :) But details to come later for that and the website, for now I need to just check out mentally and take time to rest and recoup.
Again, thank you all! I will never be able to put into words just how much I appreciate you! 😘 This is definitely not goodbye, more like see you soon! 😉
