By act of Congress in 1964, Bourbon is officially America’s Native Spirit! 📜🦅 To wear the name proudly on the label, it has to follow some incredibly strict rules:⠀

🔹 It must be made right here in the USA 🇺🇸 (Nope, not just Kentucky! 😉).⠀

🔹 The recipe (mash bill) must be at least 51% sweet corn 🌽.⠀

🔹 It must be aged in brand-new, heavily charred oak barrels 🪵🔥.⠀

That last rule means a barrel only gets one single shot at making bourbon! 🪵🙅‍♂️ Talk about high standards! ✨⠀
