First Chair Syrup Born and raised Vermonters carrying on the tradition of making pure maple syrup in Killington. In a ski town, first chair is a part of the mountain culture.

Deep in the heart of the Green Mountains lies the ski town of Killington, Vermont - home to first chair syrup. Our small family company carries on the time-honored tradition of collecting and boiling maple sap over a traditional wood fired "evaporator," condensing the sap until it reaches syrup. irst chair: early morning wake-up calls, standing in line, rally cries, even the occasional 8am beer. First chair and fresh maple syrup are the sweetest things in life here in Killington.
