We are thrilled to announce the addition of Christine Torrey and David Neighhoff to our staff.

Christine grew up in the Killington Community as her parents owned a successful ski shop. She thrived in the family business and learned all the “ins and outs” helping clients maximize their enjoyment on the mountain😊🗻. David is a mountain guy and after the last 7 years in Santa Cruz, California, Christine and he moved back to Killington. They are both STOKED for the ski season and look forward to seeing everyone on the slopes and in the shop. WELCOME BACK GUYS!!!!!!🙌❤️⛷️

Is it really over? It’s not you, it’s me 😆. Seriously, what a season of ups and downs, (literally ⛷️). It takes a special type of person to get out there in the middle of winter and ski everything the mountain and the weather can throw at you; rain, snow, ice, thunder, lightning, brimstone, moguls, rails and yes POWDER to name a few. But that is what makes skiers SKIERS! We are so happy that you trust us to get you the right equipment and service to maximize your moments on the mountain. It has been a pleasure to spend another winter with you all and we thank you for making the Forerunner what it is. Have an awesome summer and see you when the first cool breezes start blowing 💨🍂🍁🎿

EXTREMELY EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE ADDITION OF ONE OF THE RADDEST SKI BRANDS AVAILABLE; MOMENT SKIS All of their skis are made in Reno, Nevada by skiers for skiers. Moment Skis are made to perform-no compromises and to last a long, long time. All the materials are sourced to support skis that have drawn a cult like following among rippers on the West Coast; if you know, you know type of thing! 😁. We are going to make a demo fleet, of certain models, available, then bring in more just for you! We think this hard charging brand is a perfect fit for our hard charging customers!! ⛷️💪💪

We are excited to introduce an important new member of the team, please welcome; Jean Pierre Defrancesco-Sias 👋👋👋👋 Jean brings an amazing wealth of experience from his time in the Ski Industry. He attended in 92 and 93 and then went on to the Green Mountain College where he raced his way to podiums and high level competition at the Collegiate National Ski Championships. You may have met him at the Basin Ski Shop where he was GM for 5 years. Jean has lived in Killington for 20 years and enjoys getting after it on his skis and bike with his wife and two ripping kids; Ryder and Eli 🙌. Jean is really excited to help our friends and customers maximize their smiles on the mountain!! 😁 Please come by the shop and say Hi to Jean and the rest of us!! 🙏🤙

President’s Day Weekend kind of marks the halfway point in the ski season. The East has not had the “best” season so far. However, we look at the cup as half full and the skiing experience is dictated so much by your mental approach; if your just stoked to get out there and slide on snow then you have a great day! 😊We hope everyone has had a great season so far and we look forward to spring snowstorms, big moguls, tailgate afternoons, the BMMC and skiing Superstar⭐️late into the season! Enjoy it all!!!

Is it really over? The curtain has come down on the longest ski season we have seen in a while, and it was a really awesome one! We had the World Cup on Superstar, we had Hannah at the Olympics, we had bumps, we had powder, we had the Super Star Glacier, we had great ski products from our manufacturers and we have the greatest customers and local community we could ask for. Thank you to everyone for making the Forerunner your shop!! Have an awesome summer and we’ll see you once the cool temperatures start again ❄️.
