Happy Veteran’s day! Especially to my dad. I think of all of the fun and life changing things I have done in my life. None of it compares to what this man has done. At the age of 18, Living in Ennis,Ireland. His mother asked him and his 4 siblings. If any of them would like to move Detroit to live with their uncle. My dad being the adventurer he was made the move. 6 months after being in the U.S..He was drafted in Vietnam. My uncle (back in Ennis) had to explain to grandma. Why her son letters were postmarked “Vietnam” and not “Detroit”. He was handler to a German Shepard in Vietnam. This meant he led the infantry, so they could sniff out tunnels and b***y traps. To this day, I don’t know what hell he went through to achieve his American dream. But his courage, adventurous spirit and determination has made my life that much better! Cheers Dad and to all the veterans. Thank you

Rob and I took 2nd in the Sugarloaf Showdown this weekend! We had some great fishing with some pretty great peeps for a great cause. Thanks to everyone that put it together, the guides who donated trips, folks that bid online, the Sugarloaf lodge and South of seven. @ Sugarloaf Lodge Tiki Bar
