"p" made the cutest skirt in class! Super fun summertime wear! Using the foundations from the other skirts she has made, she created this one of a kind skirt ♡ side slit with a pleated trim!

My kiddos who sew are the coolest! She brought her little brother (5) to her class, so they could have a class together because he has never sewn and she wanted to share that with him 🥰
I love that, she is such a cool older sister, she even used her bookfair money to get him markers he didn't have and got me a bear pencil topper that smells of strawberry 🍓
They made felt cat toys, stuffed some catnip in the toy along with polyfil.

And i have already been informed that thier cat 🐈, approved of their makes!
And to protect the privacy of kitty, we've made sure to blur out her face!😸🐈‍⬛️🐈

Thursday, I made the Matchy Matchy Sewing Club Bow Boxer Shorts ♡ . I am really in love with these! I made view A, which is a lower rise (I have a very short torso). I am excited that they have a lower-rise option! Less editing to the pattern: I did make the rise a little lower by setting the rise and inseam length to the smallest size. And using the medium for the width :)
I would show them off, but I never see the sun (my legs), so I do not want to blind you :))
But I am very happy with the pattern and the fit!

This is a great class to get introduced to the sewing machine! How to fill a bobbin, thread the machine and needle, what are all those stitches, these little pressure feet, all the buttons! (or k***s)

We talk about troubleshooting common issues, how to change the needle, as well as what all those sizes and types of needles are used for? as well as thread and why it matters in terms of quality.
