as the salmon capitol of the world) has phenomenal fishing for all five of the salmon species: Kings, Pinks, Chums, Silvers and Sockeye. Great bottom fishing for Halibut, Yellow Eye, Lingcod, Cod, and dozens of species of Rockfish are all found in the waters surrounding Ketchikan. The Anna-Leah is one of the fastest boats in all of South East Alaska, which translates into more time fishing and less time running to and from the fishing grounds. I own and operate Ketchikan Fish On Charters, so you are guaranteed to be with an experienced professional fisherman. I run only one boat so you will be my first and only priority. I take a lot of pride in being one of the top producing captains in all of the fleet. Ketchikan also has terrific opportunities for viewing wildlife. It is not uncommon to see Humpback Wales, Orca Wales, Seals, Sea Lions, Bald Eagles and dozens of species of shorebirds on our fishing trips. Once our fishing day is over, we drop off your catch at The Cedars Inn for processing. They do a terrific job of processing and provide lots of options to custom pack and freeze your fish.
