Our hearts are hurting for this sweet boy. 💔Some of you might remember Mello, who spent over two years in shelter before finding his new home. Unfortunately after a year he is back with us in search of a forever, permanent home. We are determined not to let this lovable guy wait another 730 days before finding his peace..

Meet Mello, a 5-year-old cattle dog mix who has spent the majority of his life within the walls of shelters rather than in a loving home. It is heartbreaking to imagine the years Mello has spent staring at the same walls, waiting for a family to call his own. No dog should have to endure long-term stays in a shelter, especially one as deserving as Mello. At Hill Country SPCA, we are committed to finding Mello his forever home, where he can experience the love and care he truly deserves. We urge our followers to share Mello's story far and wide, so together we can spread the word and help Mello finally find the happiness and security of a loving family. Let's work together to make Mello's dream of a forever home a reality!
