If you are seeking an explanation of the kingdom of God from a biblical perspective (rather than a denominational one), I strongly recommend my new book, “The Kingdom of God.”

In His earthly ministry, Jesus spoke often about the kingdom of God. The Jews of His day were expecting this kingdom as the prophets had foretold it in their writings. But they also had serious misunderstandings of the kingdom and its purpose, as well as its King and His identity.
