I find it particularly interesting that Collectors today somehow assume that everything was made perfectly correct during World War II at the height of a global conflict.

This tends to be especially true with German Stuff more than Japanese. Because the Japanese clearly became desperate as War goes on with the issuance of lash stitch, bands and rifles and other equipment.

What I find most interesting about this is it today in the modern world with computer controlled Manufacturing at a time of peace we still can’t make everything perfect.

In fact, more times than not today, things are made in perfect.

Ironically, most of collecting today is the categorization of variance that in World War II would not have existed like the difference between the M35, M40and M42, German helmets. In World War II, those terminology and variance were not ever used by Germany.

I like mail delivery, just not on Saturdays. I’m too busy to be able to get stiff out right away.

So here are some photos of things they came in today that I will have to wait until next week.

We have more patches, which by volume is the number one thing we’re selling this year we’re fast approaching 2000 patches that have departed the store.

We have a lot of different types of gloves, including some nice German mittens with a trigger finger.

The rest of the items I’ll get out on Monday!
