Our dad taught us from an early age the following:

1: A rebate is just really a refund of an overcharge.
2: Nothing in life is free.
3: Never ever back talk our mother or father. “ Worst whipping ever”

Not the only things he taught us but seems these really stuck.

So all the people that are waiting for a rebate,, remember it’s just a refund of your own money or other people’s money. Nothing is free, people will pay one way or the other.

Let’s not even discuss #3 because those that have lost their mother or father now regret ever doing it.
