Hi, it's been a while. I mentally checked out for the month of August. It was a busy month. I'm back! I'm alive, so that's good lol. It's here! Janome HD-3000BE 🖤 I've been playing around with the settings and it's sews through 8 layers of vinyl like it's nothing so hopefully it works for everything I want to sew. I don't love that I don't just know the settings by heart like I did with my other machine but I'll learn. What should we name it?

Well, I think my little sewing machine is ready to retire. My husband bought me this machine for Christmas in 2012 and I taught myself to sew on it. It made quilts, ren faire costumes, comic scarves, well over a thousand face masks and so much more. I guess it held up well for being used so much. It keeps jamming or creating big knots of thread. It also decided to stop backstitching last week. I cleaned it. Replaced thread, bobbin, and needle. It's still sewing but the last book sleeve I made I had to redo FOUR times! So I've put the shop in vacation mode until I get this working better or replace it. :(
