We are so proud and excited to be able to be a Breedlove Guitars dealer. We especially love that they are an Oregon company. We can't wait to see where the next chapter brings them and we're thankful to be along for the ride.
Spent some time recently with the original founders of Breedlove talking through the history of the company. Really good guys. Pretty cool hearing where all of this started.
I have been reading and commenting on every social post recently and this is where I have landed … for now LOL:
When you acquire a company you get to see everything — the good and the bad. I respect the history and the models that came before us, but now it’s on us to figure out what worked, what didn’t, and move forward using our own experience.
For me this isn’t about ego or a name on a headstock. I’ve got a wife and three young boys — my job is to build something stable that lasts. Some decisions won’t make everyone happy. Some might feel simple… even “traditional.” But the goal is balance: the best of what Breedlove has done + new ideas and direction.
The one thing we keep hearing — from Nashville to LA session players to everyday players — is the same:
“This guitar inspires me. I don’t want to put it down.”
That’s it. Not the flash. Not the shape. Just a guitar that feels right and makes you want to play music.
We want to build guitars for the majority of players… and still create special runs for the unique buyer. Build with purpose, not just volume.
Anyway — thanks for letting me ramble. We’ve put our own hard earned money and our families well being on the line for this. I don’t know exactly what the future looks like yet, but I do know it’ll be filled with music and goodness! - Pete Mroz
