Please support our first-ever "Mega-Multi-Family Garage Sale" - this Saturday, August 15th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Puna Hongwanji Mission's Social Hall (downstairs). We'll have 30 booths worth of gently-used treasures - including clothing, kitchen gizmos, toys, arts/crafts supplies, handbags and more!

We had a nice two-day swing this weekend. First, on Friday, we opened up at the inaugural Yukio Okutsu Veterans Home Obon Festival, then on Saturday, made the trek to HVNP’s Kahuku Unit for an hour-long lecture-demo. Both events were a pleasure to be at, and we’re grateful for the chance to share our art with our communities! Thank you for the opportunity!

Whew! Sometimes the stars align and we end up with a stack of appearances - but it’s always fun! In order this past weekend: a 100th birthday party, the Experience Volcano Festival, Culture Night at Pahoa Public Library, and the Bull Shed Restaurant grand opening at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel. We're excited to try a new fundraising concept in a few short weeks. Presenting the first Puna Taiko Mega-Multi-Family Garage Sale - Saturday, August 15th, from 9:00a to 1:00p at Puna Hongwanji in Keaau. Come support our drummers and their families as we raise funds for next year's trip to Kyushu!

T oday’s the day! A updates:
1. Online ticket sales will close at 11:30a today, but a limited amount of cash sales will be available on the theater lanai at 4:00p.

2. Ticket pick up is on the lanai, and the desk will open at 4:00p as well.

3. Doors open at 5;00, but we know that people will come early to wait outside. Maybe we’ll have a surprise for you early-birds! 🙂 🦁

4. With the exception of VIP tickets, all seats are open seating.
