I have always felt hunting was my passion. Iv always loved what the mountain has to offer. My uncle Jim let me tag along as a kid checking traps or when he was guiding. Jim was in the mountains with his dogs before there was ever tracking collars or tracked machines or long range rifles. I’ve always respected him for what he knows about the mountains and how he hunted. Forbes Outfitters would very much like to make a few of the experiences Jim showed me possible for other kids. Forbes Outfitters are inviting all archery hunters to consider one of our strongest hunts. Our archery hunts are 3 days long in country that just screams ambush. Hunting these antelope over water is fun. Full of action because we make alot of efforts putting up blinds in target rich parts of the ranches we hunt. Shots are from 20 to 40 yards on average and with quality blinds to give the clients the upper hand it’s the place to harvest some nice animals. I have managed a lot of these ranches for over 10 years and the quality is here to be proud of. $2750.00 3 days. Meals and lodging included. As always with all our hunts the word of mouth is our very best advisement. We have references and would be happy to answer any questions. Dates available from August 15 to September 30. Forbes Outfitters and myself are looking for some mule deer hunters that are willing to come hunt hard for mature deer. I haven’t taken hardly any mule deer for the last 4 or 5 years and I’ve been very fortunate to lease some really good private ranches and I think it’s been paying off. Our numbers are still on the climb and I’m not in anyway going to over hunt it but from what I saw through the winter I think I’d be safe taking a few hunters. I want to work a deal with some guys to come have a great time hunting mature buck deer and work together to grow better buck deer. I’m open to suggestions and want to do business with hunters that have the same interests as me. I’m tired of having hunters disappointed that I didn’t let them shoot a young four by four or something like that. I’m throwing all my cards on the table and wondering if there are hunters looking for a hunt that will have some stipulations but will pay off in the long run. Might take a couple years but before we are done it will end up with a really neat deer to be proud of. My phone number is 307-631-6639. I’m getting the hunting itch!!! Last year I was very fortunate to get a couple hunting leases for whitetail and I only took a couple buck off them. I was just kinda testing the waters and man it was fun hunting them suckers. I saw some nice deer and alot of young stuff that I hope has a big summer of horn growth. I think it will be fun this fall with alot of mature deer running around. If anyone is interested in a whitetail hunt both bow or rifle. Look me up 307-631-6639. I charge 6500.00 for 5 days and I pay for all accommodations. It’s a great hunt to make a combo with an antelope or cow elk. Deer tag = $389.00
Conservation stamp= $21.50
Archery Stamp = $72.00. only needed if hunting archery
Processing fees if decide to have animal cut and wrapped is usually just under $300. But does vary with weight and wrapping/cutting requests.
If any questions on these additional prices please please get ahold of me. I HATE HIDDEN CHARGES!!! and want to be straightforward with all cost on hunts.

I offer huge youth discounts but give me a call to sort all that good stuff out. I want to harvest some nice deer this year and I’m not going to over hunt anything so I’m hoping spots fill fast. Just a reminder to all my hunting buddies and clients that have had questions about elk licenses and the process to get everyone a tag for 2023 I decided to answer a few questions I get asked a lot. And again please please feel free to call us anytime about dates and prices and for help applying for your tag. The applications for you tags are accepted January 1-31. The price of a tag for non resident applicants are $1283.00 (special) $707.00 (regular) cow/calf tags are $303.00 conservation stamp $21.50. Archery stamps $72.00. We are hunting in areas 33,34,2,129. It takes a different amount of points for each area to draw and we offer different accommodations for each area. We also are in the middle of booking antelope,deer and lion hunts for 2023. Be great to visit about hunting plans for this upcoming season. Tracy Thornton got Forbes Outfitters on the board in the cold rain and snow. It sounded like a awesome experience and was definitely great to have her and Dale in camp. Wade Roebling is a contender for the guide of the week but let’s get real I loaded the bull with my state of the art invention so he wins second again 😂 😂. Going to be a lot of fun this year.
