I am very proud of my daughters. We still have over 30 trees left (we bought too many our first year) and they have decided they would be better in someone's home vs. sitting in our barn. Many are still wrapped and stored inside.If you would like a tree but couldn't afford one, or know of someone who would enjoy one please contact us and come pick one up. Any donation would be appreciated, but it isn't mandatory. Merry Christmas !!!

It's going to be a beautiful weekend in North Texas. Like all of you, we struggle with celebrating while so many suffer such tragic loss. As one resident of Newtown CT said today. Celebrating the birth of our Savior is one of the ways to help us overcome our sadness. Please remember that community as we continue celebrating the Christmas season.

Surprisingly, to us anyway, we have sold more trees so far this week than at this point last week! When we questioned our customers they stated they were worried the trees would dry out.
Keeping these trees hydrated is the key. A tree will initially drink between a quart and a gallon of water, then just top it off daily. From talking with other tree lots that sell trees from the same supplier we have, our trees have a great history of living well into January. One nursery in Shreveport kept one green into March!

70 degrees here this morning, 32 tonight. It's a good day to pick up your tree and go home to decorate it. Back in Michigan my Mom used to make tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, and hot chocolate while we sorted lights and decorations. What traditions did/do you have??

Alex driving our carriage and "Heart", one of our four Percherons, in the Kaufman Christmas Parade tonight! Rayce rode in the carriage with one of our decorated Fraser Firs, while Taylar stayed back at the farm with a couple friends and sold trees!

We have been busy today! Just put out many new trees, loaded our carriage and we are now getting one of our gorgeous Percheron Horses cleaned and brushed up for the Parade in Kaufman tonight. Come up and say HI to us there and receive a coupon for 10% off your Christmas Tree!!

We heard stories from several people tonight about the sad shape many tree lot trees are in. We had two brothers come by and buy a tree tonight, an hour later they were back for a second tree for another brother in Grand Prairie. Another customer came by to let us know his friend was coming out from Rowlett tomorrow because he couldn't find any healthy trees. Our trees have been stored inside and are fresh, healthy, and priced affordably. Don't settle for a brown, dry tree. Come and check ours out!
