Our Story
The Word Wrap was created in early 2004 for our 19-year-old daughter, Stephanie. She had accepted Christ as her Savior when she was a girl, but still struggled with personal challenges and addiction as a teenager. God gave me the idea to take all the scripture verses I was praying for her and hand-write them inside of the blanket that I was making for her. As a parent it was so har
d to watch her struggle with her problems and make the choice to leave home. Knowing that she had her blanket with her, covering her, gave me so much comfort. I thought of it as Jesus wrapping His arms around her when I couldn’t. In August 2004, Stephanie was in a car accident and died from her injuries a week later. From my grief, Word Wraps were born.
