For the foreseeable future, I will no longer be taking in Alterations and repairs. My commitment to my father’s care, and to my own self care is taking the majority of my time.

I have several customers who have been waiting quite awhile for their items. I do not feel right, disappointing customers, with such a long and unreliable.

I apologize to those whose items I still have, I k ow your wait has been long. I am doing my best to finish the items that I have, but that is it.

I know Caring for my daddy is only for a season, once that season is over, possibly less time consuming, I will get back to my seamstress work.

For the rest of the summer, you can find me at the Homer Farmers Market from 10-3 on Saturdays. My selection is kinda low. I haven’t sewn any new inventory in over a month. But the market is fun and good for my soul.

After many requests for Adult dignity bibs, I decided to sew some up for the market.

I originally made these for my daddy, to help him after his stroke. Both he and the nurses at the Rehab center liked them so much. I hope you all like them too.

I only use terry cloth towels, I do not use any microfiber. The top panel of the bibs are backed with a soft flannel. I make my bibs longer, to help cover the lap, so there’s no need for the wearer to worry about dropping food in their lap. I also use plastic snaps, they do not rust like metal snaps and are softer on the skin than metal snaps.
