❤✨️One of my favorites! ✨🌈I created this piece to explore and share a deeper understanding of the meaning of aloha. It is a word commonly used lightly as a greeting. It certainly is a greeting...but why is it a greeting? The word itself actually holds a deep spiritual significance in the Hawaiian language and culture and therefore has a history of being used as a conscious greeting. ( Alo: universal presence Ha: breath of life....Aloha: to share the same breath) Each Hawaiian word can have many interpretations depending on the context. I searched online for "meanings" of aloha. I ended up writing down over a page and a half of some of the many beautiful interpretations that I found. From this I drew inspiration to create these phrases of what it is to actually LIVE ALOHA, a phrase used commonly in the islands. This piece hangs on our own wall as a reminder and after many years in the islands I still am learning daily what it is to TRUELY live aloha. I hope it can serve as inspiration for you as well! 🐚Ode to the beauty of the chambered home of the Nautilus! I have always loved the natural spiral and manifestations of sacred geometry that nature gifts us.🌱 I just learned that each chamber of the nautilus houses the sea creature for a season until it outgrows that particular space. The Nautilus then enlarges it's shell with the new chamber that is bigger and more suited for it's current state of growth. So life reflects this back to us as well...opening to hold us in our current state of growth! While "contractions" seem to be part of the dance of life, may we overall find ourselves ever expanding in loving awareness of who we TRUELY are and what we have to share. ❤️🙏🏽✨
