A symbol of Kansas City’s Innovative and Improvisational Spirit, the KC Jazzbird’s are miniatures of Willie Cole’s iconic public art display ‘ORNITHOLOGY’ at Kansas City International Airport. The piece, created from Alto Saxophones is a tribute to Jazz innovator and KC Native, Charlie ‘Bird’ Parker.
