A match made for Disability Pride month!

🤷‍♀️ I often say KartWheel was founded by an angry mom. A mom exhausted by encountering problem after potential problem after issue after almost disaster after problem.

👶🏼 The day after my first son, Calvin, was born he was diagnosed with Down Syndrome.

❤️‍🩹 My new Mommy heart was broken - I didn’t realize the gift I had just been given. It would take me months, maybe years.

☀️ Then my people showed up. My family, my friends. And organizations like - just to say: “We see you. We are here for you. You’ve got this. And btw Calvin is perfect (I know!).”

🔥 Then I got my fire back…and decided it was time to do something about these dang shopping carts. For the love!

🏡 And for the parents: whatever you have been blessed with…we see you, we are here for you, you’ve got this!

❤️ We are celebrating all month long by donating 25% of sales to and their mission to make Kansas City the most inclusive community for kiddos like Calvin.
