Have you heard of Talavera pottery from Puebla México? The intricate designs are hand-painted with great care for a beautifully detailed piece of art to be proud of. These Talavera inspired heart tassels are hand embroidered by our artisan Alfredo and his wife, they are highly skilled artisans in Chiapas and their work is amazing!💙

True and certified Talavera pottery comes from Puebla, where a specific natural clay is sourced. The master craftsmen sign each of their painted pieces and their work is just incredible.

You can find mass-produced, similar looking, and more affordable, pottery not made with the same clay or quality that makes it a certified Talavera piece. That’s more of what you see in the tourist markets.
